Congratulations to the Milwaukee Bucks, winning the NBA championship for the first time in 50 years. They rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Suns in six games. GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO was incredible in the final game, scoring 50 points and hitting most of his free throws. His shot-blocking prowess was a big factor as well.

The Olympics got under way. Nothing like the beauty of the opening ceremonies. There were a number of interesting developments. A swimmer from Tunisia won a gold medal. Ash Barty, the top-seeded women, lost in round one. For the first time since 2004, the U.S. men’s basketball team has lost in the Olympics, falling to France 83-76.

This week is the NBA draft. I think this is a deep crop and you can make noise if you have several picks.

Quote of the Week

"123-90 was not that close. A whipping as Mark Cuban’s Mavs blew out Phoenix in game seven. Luka Doncic was incredible as the Suns fell short."
