I am so thrilled and honored to be included in such an inspirational and powerfully uplifting new book by Denzel Washington.  It is a collection of personal stories from a variety of legends and leaders who celebrate the people who were most responsible for shaping the success achieved in their lives.  The book is titled, A Hand to Guide Me, and all the proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

In his debut as an author, Denzel also share his story of growing up as a young boy and the guiding forces who helped shape his life.  Other storytellers include: Hank Aaron, Muhammead Ali, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Whoopi Goldberg, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Leonard Nimoy, Colin Powell, Bonnie Raitt, Cal Ripkin, Jr., and myself, - to name only a few.

I am truly touched to be a part of such an incredible book.
