Monday night was magical for Big Blue Nation! Kentucky held off a late Kansas rally to win by eight, which is a special number because this was the eighth national championship.
John Calipari got his first championship. He did a super job blending talent together to play as a unit.
Anthony Davis won most outstanding player despite shooting one-for-10 from the floor. He had 16 rebounds and six blocked shots while dominating on defense.
Kansas fought hard and Bill Self’s team never gave up.
How about a salute to the national champion Wildcats!
I also want to thank the fans that I met in the Big Easy. I had a special time down there.
Now it is time for baseball, and I cannot wait to see the Rays.
