Now that the Kevin Love to the Cavaliers deal is done there is excitement galore in Cleveland. Yes, the Cavaliers did give up Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett in the deal, but this team has a lot of great talent now.

Think about it. LeBron James, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving and company … wow! In fact, I feel King James and Kevin Love will be the best 1-2 combo in the NBA next season. I can hear fans in Oklahoma City disagreeing, screaming that Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are the dynamic duo.

Kevin Love has to be thrilled to be the newest member of the Cavs. Think the fans in Cleveland have a lot to cheer about. LeBron and the Cavaliers, Johnny Manziel, and the Indians have played pretty well despite injuries this season. They have a great manager in Terry Francona.

I had a fantastic time speaking at the PEOPLENET convention in Hollywood, Florida. The event had 800 of their customers from all over the USA and Canada; and was held at the spectacular Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Fl. I enjoyed sharing time with their executives including President Brian McLaughlin & others such as; Garland Jackson, Mark Kessler, Ron Konezcy, RandyPeoples etc. I love their passion!

PEOPLENET is a 20 yr old company that develops technology for the trucking industry . My theme was based on CHASING DREAMS!

I was truly touched and honored Saturday, when I received the Vincent T. Lombardi Memorial Award. It was presented by UNICO, the largest Italian-American service organization in the United States.

It was very special to me because I grew up in North Jersey where Vince Lombardi began his legendary coaching career at St. Cecilia’s.

Thanks to everyone at UNICO who played a roll in me being selected for the Vince Lombardi Man of the Year.

The San Antonio Spurs have won five championships under coach Gregg Popovich. One reason for the team’s success is his innovative skills.

Popovich showed that once again when he hired WNBA star Becky Hammon as a Spurs assistant coach. She’ll join the NBA champs after this WNBA season.

I met Hammon when she played for my buddy Richie Adubato. She has super hoops knowledge. It was a good move by Pop. Now someone should hire Nancy Lieberman!
